Joo can recognise few numbers since last month and now, she can recognise no 1 to 10! I m not a good and consistent GD mother so I can't say much whether GD helps but Barney definately helps a lot! Recently, we took out her alphabet mat and re lay them out in the study room again (we kept it coz she likes to bite them at once...). Mil and I started teaching her on ABC. Now, she can read A,B,C, H,J (for BJ), R (her name), L and O. haha. Now, whenever she sees words on poster or books, she'll point and want us to read to her and she'll follow. It's real fun seeing her learning fast!

Yeah I used the ABC mat with Emily too. Emily likes to read those she likes to read. Otherwise she will ignore. Sigh. Way to go Rachelle!!

chanel, she can read from 1 to 10 oredi lah. and more alphabets each day! I m getting kancheong coz dunno how to 'keep up' with the teaching.
Mich, do 2 way thing, with her, sometimes we point she reads and sometimes she point and we'll be the 'student'. and, if we read wrongly, she'll stop her finger at the particular alphabet or picture and not moving...
Haha...i believe in Barney's teaching too!
